Hey everyone back from my very long and eventful hiatus. So now I decided I’d start off with a sports post. now I love sports and sports games. Just some stand out as instant classics. One is by far the greatest Hockey game ever made! The other is a futuristic baseball game. Both are fun and great to play with your friends. I will start with the Hockey game Blades of Steel.

Just Awesome!!

This is a must have if your a sports fan or somewhat of a fan of sports or games period! The games controls were easy to pick up and the AI was also good and challenging. If you played a friend the best part was you could start a fight. You would have to trigger the fight by bumping into the opposing player 3 times. Thus both players would start punching each other then then Ref would yell “FIGHT!” then the game turns into a fighting game.

Smells like time for a beat down!

The funny part about this game was if you won the fight the opposing player got benched. Ha Ha you gotta that! It is still the best hockey game while games like NHL 94 are also very good it’s got nothing on Blades of Steel.

Now the next game is Basewars by far one of the best games to play while you and the guys take a break from Halo 3 or COD4. It is baseball with robots. When you get out on a base your not really out. You get to fight over who stays on the base. This is when the insults start to fly while playing this game, and the laugher explodes.  You will laugh playing this game. Some players are a tank and all they can do is ram their enemies, while others have swords, guns, fly or even shoot their fist. This game is truly amazing. It’s amazing the wonders that were put on the amazing 8-bit nes.

Both these games are top notch and any classic gamer, sports fan, or nes fan like myself should be playing these games unless you already are then I tip my hat off to you sir. Now on that note we cue the music!

Hey everyone I’m back from a very long hiatus, finally found some time to write a post with miderms, work and alot of sports I’ve been pretty busy. Now last night was a great night since Boston won which makes me happy. where as C-town is furious. Game 6 will be saturday in Boston go soxs! Now staying with Baseball, Joe Torre declined a one year deal as the Manager with the Yankees which I don’t blame. While he was Manger for 12 years and every year he took the Yankees to the post season and won 4 world series that is very good and this future hall of famer will be missed in the New York commuinty.

                                                                       

   

                                                                                                   

     The Yankees are the kind of team you love them or hate them no in between. Oh well the guy is a future baseball hall of famer. He had a good run. Now moving on to College Football. I was thinking this season would have like 4 big upsets. Wrong any team in the top 10 or 25 seems to be losing to teams they should beat. MIGH, Cal, LSU, USC, Texas, Florida, Oklahoma all part of the upsets. so far a few teams still have perfect records Hawii, BC and Ohio State. I am convinced that by the end of this season there will be no team with a perfect record. So which will make a major bowl game most likly decided by a 1 loss team vs another big 1 loss team. One of the one teams I’ve been most impressed with is Kentucky. While what South Florida has done is pretty amazing, it’s just I think Kentucky is the better team the way they beat LSU in triple overtime is something you don’t see much.Now moving on to NBA while it’s still in Preseason I’m gonna predict that the C’s will make the playoffs. It’s gonna be a different team, Boston won’t just be a baseball and football town. Once again Cletics will be great you’ll see. Now in LA Kobe Bryant needs to shut up and play. Kobe is just too good and Lackers will not trade him. They would be foolish if they did. You don’t trade your franchise player

Next up on the sports platter is NFL. Peyton Manning touchdown record of 49 TDs might actually get broken as Tom Brady now has 21 TDs and 2 int which is surpurb football Tom and the rest of his Patriots are playing. I actually think he will. The way he is playing with 3-4 TDs a game he will. This is the one team that doesn’t actually need a run game it seems. As shocking as that may sound. Just look at the scores of their opponets they man handle everyone. Like Tom Brady against the cowboys last week always beat there teams by 17 points or more. Tom Brady is 24-4 against the NFC. Well thats it for sports until then this is Shawn out.

             

                   

  Hey everyone been on hiatious for some time but I’m back to another blog. But first I’d like to give congrats to the Golden State Warriors for pulling off one of the best NBA playoff upsets ever. Golden State an 8th seed in the Playoff beat the Dallas Mavricks the number 1 seed. Golden State didn’t even look like Golden State they were a different team. I am curious as how far they can go? Personaly I’m a Steve Nash fan and wanna see the Suns win it this year. But go Warriors you guys did great!

          

                          

Now moving on to Texas where a student was expelled for having a map of his school in the popular Half-Life Mod Counter-Stike. I feel bad for this kid for all you know he made the map before the events of VT. Just since VT the kid is gonna get looked at and that’s too bad for him. Just after VT look to see more percaution like this.

                                 

 Now moving to the NFL Draft where the Number 1 draft pick for the Radiers was the very predicable choice of Jamarcus Russle out of LSU. Now the kid is very talented we all know this, but I’m not too sure if he was the right choice. So after he beat Brady Quin and a beat up defense in a 41-14 blowout in the Sugar Bowl. Now everone wants him. Didn’t Chris Leak do the same to Ohio State Buckeyes? Yet you don’t hear anyone talking about him. Also Ohio State had the Hisemen winner Troy Smith who was a big no show like Brandy Quinn in the Sugar Bowl.

                               

Now Brady Quinn is on Clevend Browns. Something the Browns need badly. Now Jamarcus Russle will help the Radiers this season maybe in week 4 of the regular season. Just I’m not impressed with the sudden interest. I think Brady Quinn will have a better year then Jamarcus Russle. Call me Crazy but I belive Quinn will be the better QB.

      

                             

                          

 Now moving on to my most important thing to bring up. My Team the Packers. I am a huge Packers fan and the idea of getting Randy Moss was awesome then I found out the Packers were not willing to give up their 4th round draft pick for Moss. Saying “he’s not worth the trade.” So who got Randy Moss? The New England Patriots who are an AFC juggernat! Now this gives me more reason to be seeing the pats in yet another Super Bowl. Now I understand the Packers need defense just since this will be Brett Favre last year as a Packer. I hope with all this defense we’re getting will give Brett enough time to find his receivers. Well I think that about does it for me until then this is shawn out.
