Hey everybody I’ve been playing alot of COD4 as you may know it as Call of
Duty 4. After all the time I’ve spent with it I decided I’d go back to playing some
Halo as well so I’ve been trading off with the two shooters and while I’ve been playing I’ve noticed alot of things different and I’m going to be pointing them
out in the cons and pros of Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4.
First I will start with Call of Duty 4.

. Con no co-op play
.Con only supports one person for a lan so unless you want say a full 16 player
lan you need 16 360’s along with 16 tvs and so forth.
.Pro Inovative weapons system
.Con no achivements for online mutiplay. Does offer many, many challenges for
your weapons but does not reward you with achivements the thing eveybody
strives for in their 360 games.
.Pro alot less annoying little kids flooding the game.
.Pro ultra friendly ranking system
.Pro create your own class.
.Pro more reward for sprees, like Airstrikes and Choppers.
.Pro very high replay vaule
.Con not so much freedom on creating your own game mode
.Pro Deep story filled with a future setting that is belivable
.Con short single play about 8-10 hours tops
Halo FTW only COD4 stands in it’s way

Now moving on to Halo 3
.Pro up to 4 players co-op on XBL
.Pro supports 4 players on 360 for a lan very good for a practical big lan partie
.Pro Video reply system
.Con no clans
.Pro achivements for muitplay
.Pro Deep scifi story as it’s the final conclusion to one of the biggest games of all
time
.Con too many annoying little kids flooding the game
.Con takes too long to move up in rank
.Pro create own spartan or elite with even more features than ever
.Con nothing but a medal for a spree … lame
.Pro very high replay vaule
.Pro more freedom to create your own game mode
.Con short single play about 8-10 hours tops

Now what is the better mutiplay expereince? Well it varries if your more of an
online guy then Halo is that game since you can bring guest online with you
unlike Call of Duty 4. If scifi is not your thing then go with Call of Duty 4.
Call of Duty 4 does do alot of things better than Halo and I’m a huge Halo fan,
like the Airstrikes and Choppers for getting bigger sprees. After you play that
your sense of getting a spree in Halo is somewhat foolish and becomes mediocre.
Just what sets Halo apart and this is the death blow on Call of Duty is ability to
have a far easier lan setup. Having 16 friends with 16 360’s not a very practical
lan not to mention you’d need a big place for that kind of setup. I’ve never
understood why other games don’t follow this halo formula for lans. When
Halo came it made lans a popular trend it was no longer a nerdy or geeky thing.
Just Call of Duty I thing would be such a better game if you could do big lans on
so few 360’s maybe they will fix that in Call of Duty 5.
Well until now this is Shawn the Utown Warrior out! Take care everyone.
